Message from Head of Campus

FGS has an enviable reputation for high academic achievement, a nurturing system and a wide diversity of co-curricular activities. This demonstrates our endeavour to provide the best all-round education for our students by fully supporting them in their intellectual, emotional, psychological, physical, social and spiritual development.

In encouraging our students to achieve their potential, we place major emphasis on the creation of a dynamic teaching and learning environment, both within and outside the classroom. I believe it is the quality of the human relationships within a school that defines it, namely, the interrelations between students, staff and the entire community.

Our aspiration is for FGS pupils to be architects of their lives; looking beyond the ordinary to achieve the extraordinary, in making a difference to the world in which they live.

I warmly encourage parents of potential students to visit the school and learn more about our uniquely rewarding learning community and environment.

Message from Head of Section

Since 1999, FGS has provided a baby care centre, lending a hand to working mothers with infants and young children. Our service started with only five children, whose mothers were part of our FGS teaching staff. Presently, we have extended a helping hand to mothers outside our FGS community. Pre-school training (3 months to 3 years) is available to working mothers. The commitment we have towards the care of the children is reflected in every aspect of our baby care facility. The physical layout, the decor, the programs and the selection of staff have been approached with enthusiasm, expertise and great care. The result is a modern, progressive facility designed to meet the needs of our children, parents and community.

Introduction

FGS Daewoo Road is a Campus of FGS Group of Schools & Colleges offering classes from Early Years 1 to Grade 5. It opened on 14th October 2014 in an area brimming with academic professionals, ranging from well-respected doctors to knowledgeable lawyers. Their response truly gives credit to our goal of providing the best education, in the best possible manner. We are delighted to have surpassed all schools, in this locality, to be ascribed the best.

We have an excellent team of teachers, administration and supporting staff, committed to helping our students actualize their potential across the vast range of subjects and co-curricular activities.

At the heart of our school is a strong sense of community, connectedness and belonging. This extends from current students, staff and families through generations of graduates and friends of the school – creating a vibrant network of relationships and strong links between our rich heritage and current innovations and direction.

FGS Daewoo Road Campus has coined its name in this modern era of activity-based learning by facilitating the students with all the opportunities to display their skills and talents through various competitions, tutorial trips and recreational visits to famous places. It possesses its distinction by its students’ brilliant performance in IKLC and HRCA. The learners move with their zeal and zest to conquer the unlimited boundaries of learning and knowledge. They have earned Gold and Silver medals by their hard work and intelligence in national and international competitions.

In this global world we stress on learning by doing. Learners are valued for their unique contributions and ability to think creatively. Indoor and outdoor activities are particularly designed to prepare the students for the challenges of life in the career world. Our little Grammarians are encouraged to express their feelings and ideas through debates, speeches and articles displayed at various events and occasions. We strive to provide the true builders of our nation by embellishing their heads and hearts with firm determination and hidden potentials. We are burning midnight oil to facilitate learning and the acquisition of knowledge by promoting our values, beliefs, habits and traditions.

FGS has played a vital and significant role in the field of education since 1979.The aim of this great institute was, and is, to provide excellent academic studies along with character enhancing co-curricular activities.

I am delighted to say FGS has left no stone unturned in achieving these goals and in providing excellent education of high caliber via a broad spectrum of subjects and two academic systems, Cambridge and Matric.

FGS is known for its facilitating environment, readily preparing each generation for the trials of life. We are pleased to know that FGS students have always demonstrated a marvellous performance in every field, garnering not only a good name for themselves but also for our institute.

FGS is presently exploring new horizons and has opened 3 new branches, 2 colleges (boys and girls), and an A-Level Campus. I am glad to report that all of our branches, including colleges, are receiving supportive and encouraging feedback from the many localities where they have been established.

We would like to take a moment to warmly welcome the third generation of FGS students preparing for admission and hope that you will find FGS a resourceful place to grow.
