I, as the Head of Campus of Kohinoor City, Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad, am very fortunate to work alongside Mr. Taha Zamir Hussain (Chief Operating Officer, FGS) and Mrs. Riffat Naveed (Head of Operations). Each day is filled with new experiences and learning for all.

Being a graduate of FGS is something to be treasured. One of the factors that makes this school truly great is that sense of lifelong commitment and connection.

I passionately believe the provision of a high quality educational experience can have a transformational effect on our young people. As a student, I have experienced this impact first-hand. As a parent, I share similar concerns and issues regarding our children’s education. As a teacher, I carry invaluable experiences and lessons. Now, as an administrator, I am eager to combine all I have to offer. In essence we want for your child what we would want for our own.

Since 1999, FGS has provided a baby care centre, lending a hand to working mothers with infants and young children. Our service started with only five children, whose mothers were part of our FGS teaching staff. Presently, we have extended a helping hand to mothers outside our FGS community. Pre-school training (3 months to 3 years) is available to working mothers. The commitment we have towards the care of the children is reflected in every aspect of our baby care facility. The physical layout, the decor, the programs and the selection of staff have been approached with enthusiasm, expertise and great care. The result is a modern, progressive facility designed to meet the needs of our children, parents and community.

Friday: 07:30 am to 01:00 pm
Saturday: 07:30 am to 1:00 pm
First Saturday of every month Baby Care Center is closed for thorough cleaning.

“A Beginning in Learning for a Glorious Future”

Early years’ education continues to be the focal point of FGS. We believe that the early year’s education lays the foundation stone of the entire structure of education that lies ahead. Hence, to make the early education more focused and effective, a definite methodology has been evolved which aims at the holistic development of children’s personality. Various strategies such as role play, pair work, group work, open and close activities, excursion tours and project work are usefully employed to make teaching more interesting and purposeful. The teachers adopt a friendly approach and encourage healthy discussions and sharing of ideas. Latest educational programmes are being practiced in classes EY 1 to Grade 2 of FGS.

Early Years Section arranges Spring Gala annually, as a mega event of FGS, in which colorful variety shows are arranged and presented by Grammarians. In IKLC our students have won bronze medals. Students are also encouraged to participate in Inter-Branch competitions and to win positions.

FGS was conceived with a view to dovetail knowledge with overall development of personality and character qualities. Since then, FGS has an abiding commitment to the cause of education. We take innovative steps to impart education. Activity-based learning is encouraged at every stage. Our teachers are not only competent in their fields but are also role models for the students to emulate. FGS is an educational institution, in Faisalabad, where liberal and modern values are promoted but without stripping its Islamic character and identity. The learning environment at FGS always enhances students’ pursuit of excellence.

Grammarians of Primary Section arranged and presented ‘Diversity of Cultures’ as a mega event of FGS during 2015-16. Different cultures were presented, not only by students’ performance but also through showing their living styles, customs & rituals, by portraying each classroom as a different country. In 2016-17, the students of this Section achieved excellent results in HRCA, in which one student got 1 Apple IPad, nine students got gold medals, and three students got silver medals .In Inter- Branch Declamation Competition, the students of this Section won 1st position both in English & Urdu declamation.

Since its foundation in 1979, FGS has upheld its goal of responding to the present and anticipating the future. School life is enriched by numerous games and athletic opportunities, on-campus entertainment, compulsory game periods and other healthy competitions. Having shown our excellence in academic results (100% in Board and Cambridge Exams), we do not hesitate to uphold our reputation in “Public Speaking’. Grammarians always dominate the debating scene. FGS has been a nursery to debaters. FGS, for the last decade, has come up with legendary debaters. We believe that moral and religious training is as important as study, so Quran Khawani, Mehfil-e-Milad and Na’at Khawani competitions are conducted every year, in an immensely religious atmosphere. We also teach the students to respect and appreciate the diversity and richness of other cultures. National Days are celebrated with full sanctity and devotion.

Secondary Girls Section is more than imparting quality education. It is providing career foundation along with multi dynamic upbringing. Religion, character building, personality grooming are a few hallmarks. Different activities, mega events and competitions at district, national and international levels are participated in. Extraordinary performance of Secondary girls (with wide spectrum of subjects) transcends off and on in Matric and CIE (O-Level) exams under the dexterous, trained and experienced faculty.

Ayesha Tariq of grade 8 -O got Bronze medal in IKLC examination during 2014. Fatima Binte Khalid got 2nd position in “All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation” arranged by Chenab College Jhang during 2016.
